How Can Poor Sleep In An Infant Be Treated?

Hi! I have a 18 m/o son who weighs 20lbs and about 30 inches in height. His maximum milk intake is 8-16oz at daytime and 8oz at night. Sometimes he d finish another 8oz in the middle of the night but that rarely happens. For the past 2 weeks, he seems to have problem sleeping in through the night so we are awake most of the time between 1-4am. Mind his afternoon nap is about 1-2hrs only. I am thinking of offering Mosegor syrup to him but I read it s for 2 yrs up only. But he ll be 2 yrs old in 6 mos. Do you think it will be fine?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Don't give him anything sleep requirement is different for different individual. As long he is feeding properly and has normal weight and no other symptom. He is good to go.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ankit
