Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

It may be a pilonidal sinus or it may be a fistula or osteomyelitis of coccyx. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use tablet Amoxicillin and Clavulinic acid 625 mg for five days. Use Mupirocin ointment locally twice a day for five days. Avoid excessive sweating there. Take a bath twice a day. If symptoms not improved please consult with your dermatologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
