Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand..

As per your complain rough patches over the hard and soft palate can be due to any inflammation caused by rough or hot foods, allergies, infection, acid reflux etc..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated when the patches are present and ruling out the exact cause of the patches can help in treatment..
As of now you can do warm saline gargles, take a soft diet and avoid hot and spicy food.
Maintain a good oral hygiene and drink plenty of water..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
