I blew my nose last week Wednesday and my left ear popped making my hearing dim. I started Allegra that Friday and went to the doctors that Monday. He told me to hold my nose and breathe..it made it worse and my hearing even more dim. Last night I started Allegra D. How long should I wait before seeing an ENT?
Noted your history of blowing the nose causing left ear to pop and diminished hearing, consulted a Doctor who asked to blow the nose again to make things worse, taking Allegra-D now, wants to know how long to wait before seeing an ENT. Consult an ENT Surgeon as soon as possible for clinical evaluation, examination to know the present status of nose and ears. Till then get started on an anti-inflammatory like Ibuprofen if it suits you. Continue Allegra-D. Instill decongestant nasal drops and take steam inhalation/ Do not blow the nose again. Additional antibiotic, symptomatic and supportive treatment as per the choice and advise of your ENT Surgeon.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
