Hello,
I am impressed with your history of being so conscious with respect to the spine and the
physical therapy you undergo.
In my 12 years of practice, you are like the cases I see who has no complaints of the sciatic pain or any other abnormalities of the spine.
I am wondering about the symptoms you mentioned about burning sensation in the spine.
This is not related to the degenerative changes but i feel its a cervical region which needs to be assessed.
As the bunch of nerves keeps coming out of the brain the
cervical spine has abundant nerve passing by.
Why dont you have a check with the
MRI of the whole spine to figure out what is getting troubles.
As this burning sensation feeling can be due to the thecal cord compression at the cervical region or even if its not the nerve has the ability to carry the sensory functions which even includes the temperature like
cold and hot, just like the burning you are feeling.
In fact the scan will reveal more things. Supplements you are taking are absolutely fine and also the exercise regimen.
But the scan is a must every 2-3 years which I keep as a followup for my patients as it will help understand by comparing the scans that what changes the spine has undergone in the last few years.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
