How Can Painful And Frequent Urination Be Treated?

While arranging surgery for removal of kidney stones, is there any way to manage the pain and frequent urination? The pain is completely focused at the urethra (female) and while it varies in intensity, is almost constant. It and the frequency of urge to urinate are impeding sleep and other ADL. Urinalysis indicates NO UTI.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Painful and frequent urination is due to kidney stones.

Should take kidney herbal supplement to help reduce the size of the stones.

Can take paracetamol, or ibuprofen for the pain. While spasmex can be also helpful.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
