How Can Pain In The Wrist Be Treated?

i fell off a skateboard about two years ago and caught myself with both wrists. the left was broken but the right didn t hurt at the time. i am a cheerleader and any type of pressure or stress i put on the right wrist cause a lot of pain in the middle of my wrist. also when i write, my wrist cracks or pops and i can feel something shift. taking time off from cheerleading also did not help, the issues always come back. should i go to a doctor or can i fix this on my own?

From the description and history u give, i can say that u have and injury to the TFCC(a catilage complex) in the wrist between the two bones of the forearam namely the radius and ulna.
As a result the wirst is ustable in terms of wieght transfer, grip and motion.
Kindly see a hand surgeon or a orthopaedician, wo may need to repair the same.
Dont worry it has excellent arthroscopic repair options persent.
Til then avoid lifting wieghts, and give rest to the wrist.
Take care
