How Can Pain In The Shin Due To Osteoarthritis Be Treated?
I have severe osteoarthritis of the L4-L5 and mild canal stenosis, I also have arthritis in both knees, I am having pain in both of my shins after doing slight walking or even driving the car. What is causing the shin pain and what can I do for it? I am NOT taking any meds, I am doing PT at home. I have had to quit my job because of the difficulty walking without pain.

Hello, As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persists you can consult an orthopedician and plan for an MRI scan. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
