Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Generally, HLA-B27 is associated with a particularly difficult arthritis called Ankylosing Spondylitis.

This causes progressive crippling and there are not great treatments but a University based RHEUMATOLOGIST would be the type of doctor to see.

Likely, chemotherapy to seriously inhibit the immune system would be tried.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Matt Wachsman
