How Can Pain In The Knees Be Treated?

Hi, my name is Linda. I have had 2 spinal surgeries with rods and bolts holding it all together, both hips and 1 knee replaced. Pain has been constant, so I have been taking Oxycodone 30mg for about 4 years now. Due to retirement and a change in insurance I have had to switch my pharmacy. I ve been taking a blue pill with a V one side and 48/12 on the other. The new pill I m getting now is a larger white pill with 30 on one side and R/P on the other side. I ve been looking these medications up and i m having a very hard time finding out if either of these have ibuprofen, aspirin, or any other filler in them. I m worried because my liver and kidney counts are giving us some real concern. Can you please give me any information on these 2 drugs and recommend which might be better to take. (within your boundaries I totally understand). Thank you so very much for your input. Linda ** I m so sorry for taking up your time if you have already read this. I will have to come back another time because I don t have an extra $15.00 at this time of the month. I ll save my question and come back later. Thank you for your time.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per my clinical experience, the chronic pain has best management with following parameters as:
@ Assisted physiotherapy with physiotherapist.
@ Control of blood sugar, body weight.
@ Prescription of standard analgesic which can be taken for prolonged period of time without damage to kidney or liver as Tramadol. Hydrochloride with paracetamol combination from your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query.
