How Can Pain In The Heels Due To Plantar Fasciitis Be Treated?

I think I have plantar fascitis, more pronounced in my left heel, but in both. I have a lot of pain after long drives and lately after a night s sleep on my back. My heels hurt so bad when I wake up, it is hard to walk when I first get up. What can I do to alleviate this?

Hi,
Thanks for the query. I undrstand your concern.
Treatment of planter faciaitis consists of muscle stretches, physiotherapy or physicak therapy undrr expert guidance./pain medicines like Ibuprofen/pregbalin /steroid injection locally/surgery.
You needan orthopedic surgeon's advise for specific management.
If you have back ache also.. examination of lumbosachral spine is advised to find/exclude associated spinal, disc, pinched nerve problem.
Thanks.
