How Can Pain And Stiffness In The Joints Be Treated?

In the last three weeks, I have had stiffness in pain in joints and extremities to the point of looking like an old lady when I try to get up from a chair. It seems to hang for a couple of days, then abate somewhat. Up until 3 weeks ago, I was working out at the gym 3 times a week (strength training, lean conditioning) but have stopped as it is too painful on joints. On arising from bed, I can barely move during these episodes.

Hello Ma'am

understanding your concern , I would like to tell you the very first thing it can be due a injury or inflammation of the joints. Stiffness of joints is a classic symptom of Rhematoid Artheritis. First analyse if you have pain and stiffness in following joints :
Fingers and hands
Wrists
Elbows
Knees
Ankles
Feet
Shoulders
Hips
Jaw
then you need see a Rhematologist in person with some blood reports and X-Ray . Early treatment can limit the damage.

Good Luck
