How Can Pain And Dryness In The Throat Be Treated?

I have been sick for 4 days with severe soar throat and body aches and chills I started taking antibiotics and taking loads of vitamin C and plenty of rest and fluids but nothing is helping .Finally today I lost my voice and iam still feeling congested and has painful numbs on the tip of my tongue.It all started Afther I had a long workout outdoor and came home and I was very tired and used my cpap Machine got midnight with very dry and painful throat.dont know what else to use

You are having acute pharyngitis infection with laryngeal involvement. Your posterior pharynx examination and indirect laryngoscopy needs to be done. Your further work up should be done with throat swab culture and CBC. Short term Betamethasone steroid course can be prescribed for fast relief. Steam inhalation done three times a day with warm water. Take one tsp turmeric powder with milk daily.
