How can one treat swollen lymph nodes in the neck and headache?

I have had a headache for about 8 days that has oscillated between an ache and intense stabbing pain. It has been pretty intense and almost sent me to the ED because no OTC pain relievers were helping. I have swollen lymph nodes in my neck also for 8-10 days (they appear to be reducing in size now). I have been tired but not overwhelmingly so. No night sweats, no weight lose. I do get occasional painless swelling in my left lower leg and that has been occurring for about 10 months

How old are you? Since when you're suffering from? It may be due to upper respiratory tract infection or tuberculosis or lymphoma or retroviral disease etc.

You have to check it out ESR, chest x-ray, sputum examination, and lymph node biopsy. Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Hi I was seen yesterday by nurse who said I have flu and prescribed bed rest. I can t lift my head off the pillow as my neck (glands) are huge and my throat is extremely sore. I am struggling to swallow as it is so painful. I also have a headache right on my forehead above my nose. My temperature has come down from 39 to 37 with two hourly paracetamol and ibuprofen but it s not touching the pain. Do I need to go back to see doctor?

Hello, I am 26 years old and I am very worried. I have had swollen lymph nodes (or glands) behind my right ear, in my neck, and in my groin for the last 3 to 4 months. I also keep getting Candida or what looks like thrush on my tongue that is reoccurring. I have had oral sex from prostitutes in the past (that I dont do anymore) mostly protected but a couple times unprotected. I also had sex with a prostitute once and the condom broke, I immedietly pulled out and put a new condom on, that was about 5 months ago. Also, right around the time my lymph nodes swelled up I got pink eye, and a girl I was dating got it also but she got it a couple days later and she did not see me during that time. I was tested for HIV about 3 and a half weeks ago and it was negative. I am still very frightened about possibly having an HIV infection, even though the doctors tell me I dont. I am having surgery for a hydracele in my right testicle next week that I have had for years and is starting to become painful.and I just started dating someone I am very interested in, What should I do? Can I have sex? Do I maybe have Lymphoma, I need help.please.
