How Can One Treat Persistent Sore Throat In A 12-year-old Even Though All Test Reports Are Normal?

my daughter aged 12 years old, has been suffering from a sore throat for months now. She has been to our GP twice and has had blood tests that have come back negative except for the thyroid test which is to be repeated in three months time. the doctor has given her a thorough check-up and has said that there is nothing wrong, but she continues to complain. her bedroom in the winter gets really damp/condensation could this be the cause of her discomfort?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms of your daughter seem to be related to high humidity in the room. Improper humidity can aggravate allergy, asthma and sinus conditions. It is a major cause of sore throat, chapped lips and rough skin.

Hope my answer was helpful. If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Regards,
