How can one manage the quantity of cholesterol intake through diet ?
if liver produces 66 of cholesterol then dietary mgmt of cholesterol to mitigate artery and heart issues is bad advice if liver produces 66% of cholesterol and small intestin 7% then dietary mgmt to prevent increase in cholesterol is bad medical advice? immortal mortal

Dietary management to decrease the blood cholesterol levels is a good idea. You can manage by reducing the amount of saturated fats in your food and use good refined oils like olive oil or Saffola for cooking. Try having raw garlic daily- at least 1-2 buds.

My Total Cholesterol is 218, LDL is 151, HDL is 46. I am very careful in food intake now. Also I am taking one 10mg of Winstor (Atorvastatin) a day.
