How can one manage hot flashes, night sweats and headaches after menopause?

I have recently started having headaches (within the last month). Also most recently, I have started having hot flashes and night sweats along with the headaches. I had a hysterectomy 25 yrs. ago. I have gone through menopause so I don t know why the hot flashes, night sweats and headaches have started back. Can you help me?

I will be 71 next month & had a total hysterectomy when I was 31. Stayed on hormone pills until about 10 years ago when there was the scare about how bad they were for women.About 4 months ago I started having severe hot flashes & night sweats. Didn t really think about them until they got to the point that my hair was dripping wet. So-- with my brief history--how in the world could I be going though menopause now??

I am a 43 year old female. I started perimenopause three years ago. I was experiencing hot flashes on and off. My menstrual cycle never went more than 2 months. Now, July 12th was my last period. Since then I have hot flashes and night sweats constantly. I am averaging a hot flash once every two hours. With it comes dizziness and severe headaches that don t go away. I just came off military orders (I m a reservist) but before I left, the doctor drew my blood. My thyroid levels were fine but my hormone levels showed that I was in post menopause levels and my sugar level was 91 WITHOUT fasting. The doctor said that was not right due to me not truly being in menopause. The symptoms are consistently getting worse. The hot flashes make me so sick. I am very tired and am not feeling good. My stomach feels upset and at times, I feel a tightness in my chest, like anxiety. What could be wrong with me?
