How can numbness in the legs and hands be treated?

I started having numbness in various spots of my legs and hands. I’ve been to two surgeons for spinal issues; one is a orthopedic surgeon who said I needed surgery on both my cervical and lumbar. The other physician, a neurosurgeon, said I do not have any problems inconsistent for a person my age and to see a neurologist as soon as I can. I asked him what his opinion, without further studies, of what the actual problem is. His response peripherl neuropathy. In that exam, I, an ex Glynis this and athlete, can not walk in a straight line with one foot in front of the other. Do I have a disease. I’m very distressed over the numbness.

Good evening doctor. My husband had an injection in his right butt (august 2017) that cause real nasty side effects. It is suspected that he was injected into the nerve. For several months he had an total numbness on his foot - after acupuncture there is a little improvement However, he still has severe pins/needle feeling in his right foot/ leg/ arm and hand. He is still struggle to walk normal . This has a negative impact on his work.If he had to walk long distances or stands for a long time, it even get worse and both his feet get swollen. Prior to that injection he did have trouble with pain in his shoulders/ knees and hand. The local doctor said that he might have ostea-arthiritis but no test have been done yet. He drink currently osteoEze MSM - 2 capsules twice daily. Could the us of Neurobion forte make a difference? Or which Neurobion product do you suggest? Or would you recommend something else Kind regards Veronica

Hi, One fine night my father got up to go to toilet, and he shouted us saying he can t lift his right leg and next morning we took him to a near by doctor who gives Ayurveda medicines to treat paralysis, who gave a complete course for thinning the blood (injections & tablets) and reducing cholesterol levels, after few months of no effect as told by my father, we took him to another doctor a neurologist, he gave course of medicines to control BP and reduce cholesterol, however, after 3 years of continuous medication, he still complain of numbness in one hand and leg. We got his CT scan done but no blockage/clouting its normal, the recent lipid profile is normal. He is on strict diet of less/no oil food, no red meat and chicken and fish one in a while that s it. What possibly be the problem? or its just physiological problem.
