Hello,

It looks like it is not just cold but also sinus infection that is leading to green drainage from nose that is commonly an indication of infection as it is an infected mucous.

You should consult an Emergency room or an ENT Physician and get evaluated and a PNS View x-ray of sinuses should be done to rule out sinus infection.

In case if there is sinus infection, then along with Promethazine and Naproxen you shall also be advised antibiotics like Augmentin, Cephalexin et cetera, you should also take decongestant nasal spray like Otrivin. Do saline nasal irrigation and steam inhalation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Honey Arora
