How Can Mouth Ulcers Be Treated?

The last three times I have went to the dentist and received Novocain injections, I experience blisters on the inside of my mouth and it s always the side where the work was done. I am miserable, even ICE CREAM hurts burns. Tried all the home remedies. Is this a normal reaction?
