How Can Mitral-valve Endocarditis Be Treated?

I am 59 yr. old lady. I hardly ever was on prescription medicine very much in my yrs. except for a UTI which I then took Amoxicillin. Then ended up with Mitro-valve Endocarditis in 2009. Had then been on only Vitamins, which not am totally asked to take an MRI Cardiac Test. and they prescribed eliquis to me. I do not like to take perscriptions. I like to cure/change/dietary and anything else if all possible.

Hi , I understand that you are on eliquis for a probable irregular heart rate or a blood clot as you have not provided the information . For infective endocarditis prevention you will have to have to be careful that you get treated fast for any new fever to prevent it from reaching your mitral valve . Also you will need to take antibiotics before any major surgeries .

Will be happy to follow up .
