How Can Melasma Be Treated?

So I have this literally dark diagonal triangle beteeen my eyes and nose. I have been told is hyperpigmentation/melasma. I For 6-7 years I have used all kind of tropical creams out there.. you name it and i have used it.... but to no avail. finall heard of a hybrid fractional laser.. treatment for melasma ? your take on it?

A Q switched Nd- YAG LASER is good option for melasma treatment but the condition can be recurrent. A lot of sunscreen application is a must on regular basis and if you are on any medications ( like hormonal pills) or if you are peri or post menopausal. The fluctuating hormones may trigger this.
