How Can Lumps In The Groin Area Be Treated?

I ve had 3 lumps in my groin since March 2017. I m pretty sure that they are lymph nodes, they appeared after I had quite a bad cold but haven t gone down since. They re not painful and don t cause me any discomfort I was just wondering why they haven t gone yet? They do go up and down in size sometimes

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I understand your concern.

The presence of lumps in the groin area that are not going away and get swollen from time in time could be lymph nodes.

As they're present since March 2017, dermatologist should be consulted immediately to get the right diagnosis. Biopsy of the lymph nodes should be carried out to determine the nature of swelling.

Hope this helps.

Get a Blood CBC done.
Get an USG lower abdomen done.
I have to examine you before I tell you what they are?
May have to get FNAC done.
CT abd may be required to reach a final diagnosis
