Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
How long is it save to let a low-grade fever go? My daughter-in-law is 28 years old, is nursing a 5-month old baby, and has had the flu for almost two weeks. She s improving slightly, but I m concerned about the fever. It subsides for a while, but generally comes back in the afternoons when she s tired.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Varinder's Response
Hello,
She can take tablet Paracetamol to be taken 8 hourly. If she is having no let down in fever, then she should be evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
