How Can Lactose Intolerance In An Infant Be Treated?
HI! My 3months baby has infection in stool. Stool contains mucus and octopus blood is also +very. Dr diagnosed lactose intolerance/cow milk allergy. I have eliminated diary from my diet completly but no relief. Since baby is on mainly on bf and laclose free formula once a day. plz confirm line of treatment. Any helpful Dr. can what s app me the treatment on 0000. as I want baby s issue to be relieved.

Lactose intolerant children can be put on milk powder. In lactose intolerance there is deficiency of enzymes which is responsible for metabolism leading to excretion of undigested products and diarrhea.
Milk powder as well as liquorice can be tried.
