How Can Itchy Rashes On The Body Be Treated?

Hi. I m a Hospice nurse, and we visited a facility that later on reported a patient diagnosed with scabies. We were given Elimite and Ivermecting prophylaxis . Before this, i had hives on my thighs, and my doctor prescribed Prednisone and Levocetirizine, which worked. But the hives returned the day after i completed the Prednisone. Now I have a rash on the nape of my neck, feels like a heat rash, very itchy. And i have a rash all over my body. Also itchy. My primary doctor is unreachable at the moment. Do i need to go to the hospital?

Hello, Thanks for the query.
To control the rash you may take only Levocetirizine once a day. If it does not go away, then may add Prednisolone aslo and take the medication for a few days. Only for the rash, there is no need to go to ER. Thanks.
