General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
First you have to find the cause of the irregular period.
Irregular period could be due to hormonal imbalance, polycystic ovarian disease, endometriosis, adenomyosis, thyroid disorder
I would suggest to consult the authorized gynecologist and undergo clinical examination, Reproductive and thyroid hormone analysis, ovarian follicle study and USG scan.
Treatment will depend on the specific cause and test result.
Birth control pill or progesterone pill can be useful to regularize the period.
Metfromin and clomiphene citrate can be useful to induce ovulation and maintain fertility
Avoid stress, take healthy diet with lots of green leafy vegetables and fresh fruits, do regular exercise and reduce 10-12% body weight if you are obese
So consult the gynecologist and take proper treatment
Hope this may help you
