Hello Doctor , My Name Shekhar I am suffering from Intestitinal Tuberculosis so i using Medcine AKT 4 & Levoflox After Using Medcine One Month , I did My LFT then my SGOT level upto 44 more than 4 as requried now i m facing Iching problem in my skin ....What is this could you explain
Thanks for writing to healthcaremagic. I am Dr Laxmikant Desai answering your query. I ll not go into diagnosis part of your problem and assume that you have intestinal TB. For you the treatment is correct and required. When somebody on ATT (anti tubercular treatment) minimal changes in LFT are common (as in your case). You need to be worried if you develop jaundice or SGOt/SGPT more than 4-5 times the upper normal limit (i.e. >160-200 if normal value of lab is 40). Ichting may be due to various reasons. Please contact your family physician.
