my brother has not slept for 3 nights as he has been fired unexpectedly from his job . I just want him to sleep and rest and then decide what direction to take for his future. He is 30 years old Please refer any medicine that can make him sleep for at least 8-10 hrs.thanks .Zeeshan from Dubai.

In my opinion, you should definitely take him to psychiatrist. He is suffering from post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). He needs counseling sessions and anxiolytic drugs (propranolol and flunarizine combination). Since these drugs are prescribed medicines, you won't be able to get it over the counter without prescription. So consult psychiatrist and discuss all these.
