Psychiatrist 's  Response
Dear Brittany118,

Throwing up affects a lot of metabolites/electrolytes in the body, period. There are no two ways about it.

Please go to your GP/psychiatrist if you feel that you have concerns with regards to weight/problems with Bulimia. They should be able to help you both with medicines as well as pscyhological/talking therapies.....which can actually "cure" Bulimia. Good news is that Bulimia can be very well managed.

Healthy weight loss can be achieved in varoius ways but in your case should be under expert guidance in view of your H/o Bulimia.

Good Luck.
