Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... I have a golf ball-size bruise on my inner & and upper left thigh. Beneath it I can feel a small hard lump, slightly tender to rub over it. I have no idea how I got the bruise. I exercise regularly but have not hit into anything. Should I be concerned and if I need to see a doctor, should I go to my regurlar physician? Thank you.

I fell 6 days ago on my left outer thigh. The bruising started immediately and the area is huge, from the top of my thigh about 10 inches long and wrapping around the outside and half way around the back of my leg. It is all different colors. What worries me is that it is still very painful, and there is a large hard lump on my outer thigh that is about six inches by six inches should I be concerned, and what kind of doctor do I go see? Thank you,Kelly

I have been being treated for achilles tendonitis for the past month but continue to get worse. The orthopaedic PA put me in a walking boot, told me to elevate and ice the tendon, and to stay off of it as much as possible. I have worn the boot and followed the other directions to no avail. Now the swelling will not go away even with ice application and elevation, there is severe pain and bruising to the back of my knee and I have muscle spasms in my calf at night. I just had an MRI done last week, but now my doctor is on vacation for a week so I will not know my results. What can I do to stop this pain and swelling and to heal this?

I fell quite badly two months ago on my fprearm, the area became very raised and blue/purple bruised. The bruise has now gone but it still hurts to apply pressure to the area and the tissue is still raised/hard. Is that normal? Will it just sort itself?
