Dietitian & Nutritionist 's  Response
Hello,

After reviewing your symptoms, if I were your provider I might talk to you about trying the FODMAP diet to identify obvious food triggers and to be able to develop a compatible nutrition plan to control your symptoms and help you reach your wellness goals.

Weight gain can occur once all malabsorption is corrected and nutrient deficiencies identified and corrected for optimal metabolic functioning. Such a plan can be developed and supervised by a knowledgeable Registered Dietitian.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Kathy Shattler
