How Can Hypothyroidism Be Diagnosed?

Hi m dr aftab veterinary doctor doing govt job...i feel the symptoms of hypothyroidism like cold extremities,swelling under my eyes,increased uric acid and increased triglycerides in blood...i also feel lack of eneegy...signs of premature aging are also prevalent..my age is 30 years and lab report of tsh,t3 and t4 are in normal range...but i do feel symptoms...what i should do??

Hello there. I have read through your question and would like to tell you that if your T3 , TSH, T4 levels are normal then you are not Hypothyroid. Raised uric acid levels may lead to joint pain and can be controlled by Allopurinol. Raised triglyceride levels are due to fault in lipid metabolism. It can be corrected by avoiding saturated fats . Also Tab Fenofibrate can help to bring it under control. You can talk to your physician about the same. I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write.
