How Can Hyperpigmentation Be Treated?

sir I am aged 46 and have been suffering from hyper pigmentation(MELASMA) for about 10 years.I have tried a number of skin ointments and treatments (including chemical peeling) but in vain. However, I started using MELACARE FORTE almost 2 months ago and the change was drastic. The pigmentation has almost disappeared. But someone told me that MELACARE FORTE has serious side effects and that it should not be used on face..Waiting for your expert advice
