Hello, my face has been moderately clear for a few months but lately I notice my face has begun to break out around my jawline/side burn area. This has happened about a week and a half ago and I also notice that my right side of my face seems to be much worst than my left side. Is this hormonal acne and is there something I can do to basically clear my skin?
- antibiotics like azithromycine 500 mg thrice a week - clindamycine gel - cleansing the face with cetaphil lotion - avoidance of triggering factors like stress, oily food,pills..etc
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have acne on face and around jaw line due to hormonal imbalances which needs immediate treatment otherwise it could leave scars on face. . I would suggest you to apply clindamycine gel twice daily or retinoid gel. You should use benzoyl peroxide face wash and give cold compresses. You should take antibiotic like minocycline 50 mg daily in morning and isotretinoin capsule. If condition doesn't get improved in a month then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe steroid ointment and antibiotic like clindamycin. Apply vitamin C serum at night .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
