How Can Hip Bursitis Be Treated?

I have bursitis in the hips. Because of stomach issues, Ive been hesitant to take any meds. What can you suggest as anti-inflammatory that will not bother the stomach? Or is there anything else that will help bursitis? I do some stretching exercise of the hips & legs every morning & have used ice when they pain gets back. Ive been on Prednisone for Myasthenia Gravis and just finished tapering off of a 4-year regime of it. I don t want to get back on steroids if I don t have to. Can bursitis cause swelling in the ankle, leg, and hands? Thanks for your guidance.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
