How Can High Blood Pressure Leading To Dialysis Be Avoided?

Doctors has diagonised and conformed that my grandfather has only one kidney during prostatis surgery.And he is BP patient ,he is getting medicated for blood pressure since 20yrs.Right now he is having arroung 200/100.This is uncontrable by tablets.If blood pressure wont subsides , it leads to dialasis?kindly provide any solution for that.

I understand your concern and would explain that uncontrolled high blood pressure could be related to kidney dysfunction.

But dialysis is not the main solution in such case.

You should know that the decision for dialysis is based only on the kidney function and not on blood pressure values.

Regarding blood pressure values, I would recommend making some changes to his actual antihypertensive therapy (increase the doses or add new drugs).

You should discuss with his doctor on these issues.
