How Can Hernia Be Treated After A Gall Bladder Surgery ?

I have a hernia after having gallbladder surgeory. Lately it has been very painful. Other than surgeory, is there anything that can be done to alleviate the pain? If I go to the emergency room will they be able to do anything for me or would it be a waste of my time?

Hi
welcome to healthcaremagic
No other treatment other than surgery is recommended. If hernia becomes suddenly painful, you need to go to emergency. If it is incarcerated, an urgent surgery may be required. However it is probably not a good thinking for a patient or a doctor that his/their time is wasted, as nobody knows when complications occur and it may become lifethreatening.
Take care
