How Can Hepatitis-C Be Treated?

I have hepatitis c , have had it for ten years recently while seeking treatment was asked if I had any history of liver disease and was told that my last blood work 3 years ago showed some problem with my liver besides the hepatitis and that I had something in the blood work that showed disease in my liver.

I have read your question and here is my advice.

Hepatitis C can damage the liver, and yes this can be projected by blood tests. However, Hepatitis C can be treated effectively these days. For that we need to have evidence if the virus is yet in our blood or not, and we check this by getting a simple test that is Hepatitis C serology if that is positive we do a PCR, if its positive as well then we can treat the virus with a 3 months of antiviral drugs.
