How Can Hemorrhoids Be Treated?

Hello. I ve been having a flare up of hemmoroids for the last few days. Today, about an hour after having a bowel movement, I realized that I had bled through my underwear and pants. The bleeding has slowed way down, but it s still bleeding slightly. Wondering how long this will last and what I should do.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Better management should be done by the surgeon after clinical examination.
Following advises will help:
Hot FOMENTATION.
Apply lignocaine ointment few minutes before going to pass stool.
Use ANOVATE ointment twice a day. Once at bed time and once after passing stool in morning.
Syrup CREMAFFIN 15 ml at bed time to make your stool soft.
Consult a surgeon for proper assessment of your situation.
Hope this may help you

Contact further if follow up needed
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
