How Can Heavy Menstrual Bleeding Be Treated?

Hi, my name is Jessica, I ve been having really heavy periods for like a year now. And it s getting worse, but I m not cramping at all, I do have mood swings,and when I go pee, I fill toilet up with blood. I know it s not pregnancy cause I had my tubes Tied. I started my period like 1 week ago, and I m still bleeding heavily. I know this isn t normal, I ve been going Through pads and tampons way to quickly doc!!! Please help me I need some advice.. what do u think is going On here.. kinda worried.

Hi I think you should consult a gynecologist for complete examination. Get a thyroid profile and prolactin level and a ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries to find out the cause of heavy bleeding during periods. You can take some medicines like tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding. Hope it helps.
