Is there any home products i can use to make it stop falling out so fast? Also noticed hair on my eyebrows , chin i can squeeze and hair comes out fast

Hi,

I got your chief complaint, there are several reasons for hair fall. These are:
1) Hormonal issues like excess release of androgens in the body in males particularly. It causes diffused loss of hairs around the scalp. It is the most common cause.
2) Infections of scalp from fungi (Ringworm).
3) Underlying vitamin deficiency particularly vitamin A and biotin.
4) Use of chemicals in bleach, soaps in which scalp and hair follicles are sensitive.
5) Chemotherapy among cancer patients.
6) Sharing of towels and soaps with infected persons.
7) Emotional burst or stress.

In your case it can be most likely:
1) Androgenic alopecia.
2) Fungal infection of the scalp.

It can be treated by:
1) Drugs like Minoxidil oil to be applied on the scalp.
2) By antifungal drug therapy like Flucanozole if it is due to fungal infection.

Preventive measures:
1) Avoid frequent bleaching of hairs.
2) Avoid procedures like hot iron and rollers for setting hair.
3) Take fresh fruits it supplies vitamins and nourishes hair follicles.
4) Use personnel towel, soaps and not share with others which often transmits infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Soheel Hussain Zargar,
