How Can Gastroparesis And IBS Be Treated?
61-year-old female, sudden onset gastroparesis, diagnosed with IBS-M (mostly constipation) and exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, weight loss of 40 pounds over four months, still having nausea and vomiting with constipation. Should work-up be done to rule out paraneoplastic syndrome?

Sudden gastro paresis plus IBS suggest some sort of mass in the gastrointestinal tract. as per recent weight loss which is 40 pounds, it suggests malabsorption of food or maybe neoplastic conditions underlying. so as per age and IBS, it's better to have a check-up for neoplastic condition and have a diagnosis.
