How Can Gastrointestinitis Be Treated?

i dont know if it have anything to do with it but a couple of years ago i had acute gastro intestinitis. when i have a few half of pints of vodka over a period of a couple weeks i have some blood in my stool. it only happens when i drink to much. i'm 53 years old.
