General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Certain gastroenteritis takes time for recovery. Here you have not mentioned current level of motions, abdominal pain, fever, appetite, vomiting, and lethargy or playfulness levels in these terms we evaluate that he is not fit. In absence of these details I would suggest certain guidelines for faster recovery.
• Give plenty of liquids preferably boiled water, coconut water, and rice water
• Soft, light diet with more of fresh curd in frequent sessions
• Avoid all commercial products of high fat, junk foods, ice creams, cookies, etc.
• Check him to chew his food thoroughly
• Oral and anal hygiene are important to be taken care well
• Continue current medications

Follow-up consultation after 3 days with all the relevant details, if needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel
