How Can Gastritis While Suffering From Celiac Disease Be Treated?
I have gastritis, celiac disease and I have been feeling weird symptoms that have me concerned. I feel a lump on my throat or some heaviness ( hard to explain), I have trembling on occasion and anxiety. These symptoms have occurred for the last week and a half.
In the context of celiac disease, you must take care to avoid any gluten-containing foods. If you do have gastritis, that can be helped with over the counter antacid for some time. Avoiding very spicy foods and painkillers would also help. The symptom of a feeling of something in the throat can have multiple causes, including GERD, but the duration is too little. As you said, I wonder, how your mood has been these days? Anxiety can cause gastritis. So, I would advise doing some relaxation exercises.
You can also ask for a psychiatrist consultation if needed. If it fails or anything looks more alarming (like food sticking in the throat, heaviness, severe vomiting, etcetera. or non-response to the above plan) you must see the doctor urgently then. But I hope it works.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman
