How Can Frequent Bowel Movements Be Treated?

Since last night, I am having very frequent bowel movements. It is not diarrhea but the bowel is very soft. I am also having stomach aches. I have been taking Kaeopectate since early this morning but the frequent bowel movements continue. I do not have any other symptoms, but I am unable to leave the house.
