How Can Foot Infection And Pain In The Foot Be Treated?
I have a foot infection. First received cehalexon, 7 day course twice daily, then no improvement, urgent care changed meds to doxycycline, 2 x daily after 8 days no improvent, pain when I walk, infection site down to a scab but heel area is red, and pain causes me to limp... what do you think

I understand your concern. Are you diabetic? I suggest that you :
1) Do a blood test and a sugar level.
2) Clean and wash frequently the area.
3) Continue with the antibiotics for other 7 days.
4) Use antibiotic ointment for local effect.
