How Can Flu, Low Fever, Chills And Constant Vomiting Be Treated?

Hi, my daughter has symptoms of the flu, low fever, chills, but she also is throwing up everything unable to keep any thing down not even broth. This is going on the second day. What can we do? She is 25 so she isn t a child but still the concern of dehydration is there. Thank you for your time

Hello Dear. You can take your daughter to the emergency dept. She may need to get admitted and get treated for dehydration with IV fluids. Also blood tests have to be done to find out the cause of fever.

For the time being till you get her to the hospital you can give her lot of fluids, tender coconut, fruit juice, lime juice with salt. Also can give tablet paracetamol to bring down the fever.
