How Can Fever In An Infant Be Treated?

Hi, my son is almost 4 months and he has a fever and sticks his tongue out sometimes. He just wants to be held in my arms. He is still breastfeeding normally and hasn t lost his appetite. No coughing or runny nose. What could be wrong with him and what should I do?

Hello Dear,
I evaluated your concern in depth .
@ Most important is the temperature chart maintenance showing exact
temp by clinical thermometer every 2 hourly .
@ As he is taking breastfeeding normally , watch for his playfulness , skin
turgor , urine output ; no need to give any of the medications at present
can offer cold water sponging over forehead when temperature more
than 99 degree F .
Revert back after 24 hours dear .
